It is very well maintained, sparkling clean and family friendly. The living room features a vaulted ceiling, large sectional and flat screen cable TV with DVD player. There is a formal dining area that seats six and bar seating for two in the kitchen.

The sunny kitchen overlooking the back patio and fairways, has been updated and is fully stocked with cookware and serving ware for entertaining family and friends. The icemaker does not work on this property.  Ice trays are provided. The atrium has been enclosed a converted to a sizeable den which offers even more living space to the great room and has been furnished with a sofa bed for additional guests.

The primary bedroom is furnished with a comfortable king bed and quality bedding and has a flat screen cable TV. The en-suite has a walk-in shower. There are two guest bedrooms … one with a queen bed and the one with two twin beds. The guest bath has a combination tub/shower.

The extended back patio looks over an expansive double fairway and has been furnished with a dining table that seats six and an outdoor living room with loveseat and two comfortable chairs. A beautiful spot for your morning coffee while watching golfers play through, or dine al fresco while enjoying a perfect desert sunset.

The location is ideal for guests who enjoy walking. Just outside the country club back gate, guests can shop at the weekend COD Street Fair, Trader Joe`s and the Palm Desert Mall. Located just outside the front gate is The River which offers dining, shopping and a multi-plex movie theater, and the Rancho Las Palmas Shopping Center has a Starbucks, Steinmart, and several restaurants. Rancho Las Palmas Country Club has a full service club house with dining, bar and snack bar as well as golf and tennis pro shops and is located on a premier 27 holes golf course, has 26 swimming pools and hot tubs and one of the most desirable tennis facilities in the area. The Omni Rancho Las Palmas Hotel and Resort also share the grounds and offers even more restaurants, facilities, and a world class spa.

Additional amenities include cable TV, DVD Player, Wi-Fi and Free US and Canada. The owner is mindful of security so you will find that there are security cameras on the back patio and entry courtyard as well as motion detection lights.

Note:  Summer months, June 1st through September 30th, there is a $200/month cap on electricity use.

Rancho Las Palmas is a semi-private country club adjacent to the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort. It has a 27-hole golf course and one of the desert’s top tennis and pickle ball facilities, community pools and spas and walking distance to many dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

Tenant vehicles with commercial advertising must be parked inside the garage. Also, large vans such as the Mercedes Sprinter, campers and RVs are not permitted.

NOTE: It may be possible to purchase an RFID tag to use the owner’s entrance at the front gate and access to enter the back gate off Monterey Avenue. To qualify for the purchase, tenants must rent for a minimum of two months, acquire the owner’s permission, present a signed rental agreement and pay $100. Please inquire for more details. Guest with shorter stays, or without an RFID tag will be given a gate pass and must use the front gate of Bob Hope Drive to enter Rancho Las Palmas and can exit only through the back gate on Monterey Avenue.

As in most gated communities, there are strict traffic rules and infractions are fined. Please inquire about rules and regulations.

SPECIAL NOTE: When planning your vacation, please take into consideration that there will be reseeding of golf courses and grassy areas in the desert during the months of September, October, and November. This means golf course closures, often for a month. If golf is part of your vacation, you will want to remember to ask about course closures. We will do our best to find out the closure dates or put you in touch with the golf club you are interested in, however, we are not affiliated with any of the golf courses and reseeding could be expedited or delayed due to weather or various reasons beyond our control. Neither the property owner or Vacation Rentals of the Desert can be held responsible for the closure of golf courses during your stay due to reseeding or other closures beyond our control.
